WHY ENROLL ADVANCED METALLURGY

MAXHUB advaced metallurgy is a technical training course special designed for personnel who work in metallurgy related field or technical specialist to enhance their knowledge.  This course is specially dedicated for the personnel has certain level of Metallurgy background (materials science/metallurgy).  At the end of the course, trainee will obtained the skill to represent company as a technical specialist to defends the laboratory report or the result obtained from the experiment to customer or professional level.  This course is more like case study, for either a standards (for example, decarburization measurement (ASTM E1077, F2328) or ferrite measurement in austenitic and duplex stainless steel (ASTM E562), ISO etc.) Trainee will fully understand standards that need to comply to meet market requirements & standards of ASTM, ISO, and etc. Person also able to fully interpret result and come out with a report fulfill requirements of ISO 17025.

COURSE OVERVIEW

• Introduction of the purpose of the standard (let’s assume it is ASTM E340-15). 

• Explain the scope, significant and use. 

• Starts to demonstrate from the sampling, sample preparation, solution used for etching, procedure involved to prepare the etchant by follow the requirements of ASTM 340-15)

• Etchants usually is hazardous solutions, the precaution, equipment, and safety before and after etching process.

• Observation of the result by using microscope

• Explain how the failure result looks like

• Interpreting result correctly

• Data collection and record

• Professional Reporting
