MAXHUB metallurgy and non-metallurgists is a technical training course specially designed for personnel who work in metallurgy related field but not a metallurgist such as sales & marketing, purchasing, lab technician, quality control personnel etc.  This course provides excellent understanding of metallurgy and enhance professional communication skills when communicate to customers, suppliers, and even have a discussion with co-workers.  Trainee who enroll this course would able to explain the company product in more details, with professional terms, and hence increase individual's confidence and profitability of the company.

COURSE OVERVIEW

  • Introduction of scientific terminology of metallurgy (for example: metallurgy, composite, matrix, ferrous metal, etching, microscopic, metallography etc.),

  • How to interpret a material certificate,

  • Explain the company products, and give some good examples how should a professional/ technical sales person introduces company’s product to potential buyers; how a purchaser understand and orders from supplier, how to lab technician understand more when given instruction by engineers and etc.

  • Understands company products from the beginning of the production line with engineering perspective, and understand the basic selection of steps needed to go through for specific engineering applications.

  • Understands deeper on materials properties, process of manufacturing, and process changes the mechanical properties of the metals

  • Classify steels in families and understanding the major content

  • Describe briefly how metals are tested to determine the critical properties (tensile test for strength and ductility, hardness test, results under microscopic examination and etc) 

  • Explanation of tendency of metals corrode, and rate of corrosion in different corrosive environment and corrosion prevention
