WHY ENROLL MAXHUB METALLURGY SAMPLE PREPARATION
MAXHUB metallurgy sample preparation is a technical job skill. It acquires through practice and learning practice metallurgy sample preparation. This course is offering a step by step coaching to practical preparing the sample from a bulk material, cutting to specific size, mounting, grinding and polishing. MAXHUB team will special customize each parameter to our customers, and give them a unique instruction menu, to guide trainees. At the end of the course, trainee able make a sample that is fully prepared and ready for metallurgical testing/examination. Each steps of this course is fulfill the requirements of ASTM E3.
COURSE OVERVIEW

Explain the concept and the purpose of preparing a fine sample for metallurgy test/examination.

Demonstrate the sample from cutting of a bulk material, with specific size, and the specific area, depends on the case of study.

Providing the graphic illustrate of surface need to cut, as per standard requirements.

Mounting, cold mounting or hot mounting are an optional. Explain and determine time, temperature required for hot mounting based of the material, and the powder used.

Explain the speed of grinding, the SC paper used, and the stage of ready to go for polishing

Explain the theory of grinding and polishing, and the grade required, and the parameters required to obtain the fine surface, and good result.
